I bought my first Honda Civic here in 2016 brand new from Stephanie who's no longer there. I chose Harmony because that's where my father purchased and services his car. Great first experience visiting the centre. No pressure sales, no doc fees, a one-stop shop with financing and insurance all in store. Sometimes it can take most of the day, but they've got coffee, bottled water, and Wi-Fi. After a relatively good first experience and continual maintenance on my civic at Harmony, I decided to visit again and buy an older preowned CRV for my spouse. This was the wrong choice and car for a couple that doesn't know much about cars. The salesman this time didn't care. On top of being sold the wrong car, the bulk of the not so good experience came from dealing with the finance lady, Sandy (no longer with them, fired?) who on that day lied about needing warranty to get financing. That day, I came out with a less than satisfactory experience. All this brought us to Quinn (damage control manager), who listened to us and helped us come up with a solution. He was always more than willing to hear me out and make things work. We came in and they offered to buy back the CRV (at a loss, found out the warranty wasn't transferable through dealership) or trade in for a different preowned vehicle. Quinn was super professional and gave us options, no pressure. He made everything right and did everything in his power to offer us a fair price along with extras. Just like his skin, Quinn is the shining light for this company! Although we lost money on our trades (as expected), he made it as fair as possible and took care of us every step of the way. Harmony has gone through changes over the past few years. It is not perfect. No dealership is. However, they do strive for 100% customer satisfaction and want to build back their reputation. You just need to fight for it sometimes..
Took my accord to this dealership, they did great work never over charged me and did what I asked (even though that cost me more money in the long run, they did what I asked ?), highly recommend Harmony Honda, and I'll be using them for any issues that happen with my accord
Update: Got a call from Quin today. He apologized and we discussed our differences. I definitely feel much better about it now. I am pleased he followed up with me and put my mind at ease. It’s nice to know that even though we weren’t feeling good about the experience that the ppl at Honda will make it right. Thank You QuinWe were looking to buy a Honda Crv as a commuter for my fiancé. After shopping around we found one at Harmony Honda. Colton was great and we bought a used crv from him. A few days later the vehicle began to shake at 3-4 thousand rpm. So I called and asked if they would fix it or if we should consider something else. (There was a 30 day or 2500 km hassle free exchange warranty)The sales manager said to bring it in. We brought it in on the following Saturday. They called and said it was ready about 4pm and we picked it up without recieving any paperwork and were told they replaced to front axles. ( How was something that big missed on their 120 point inspection) A few days later the vehicle was shaking at a lower rpm. Needless to say we were unhappy and found another vehicle on their lot that was quite a bit more money. My fiancé went to test drive it with Richard (Colton had the day off)and let them know that there was something very wrong with the vehicle we purchased. It was 5 o’clock on Friday and they said 1. Didn’t want to sell us another vehicle because we would return it in another two weeks2. We don’t have time to deal with you today So we said we would return in the morning. When we arrived in the morning were greeted then left to sit and wait nearly 45 minutes while they had a meeting. Then after letting Colton know we were exchanging the crv for the more expensive Acura the sales manager came out was extremely rude and aggressive (accused us of being the type of ppl that would come back in 2 weeks and return it) We just want a safe reliable vehicle for our new baby. Spending yet another 3000$ (With no warranty on this vehicle) and our vehicle was finally ready to drive off the lot after nearly another 3 hours. The sales manager as he was putting our plates on the car said to my fiancé that we better not come back “crying”. We are appalled at the way we were treated by Quin the Sales Manager and will never be returning to Harmony Honda. We also will be sharing our experience with friends and family.
Colton is an amazing sales person. He went above and beyond to help me. If you go into Honda Kelowna ask for him. You will be impressed.
I called service for some information about a used car i was about to purchase. I talked with a lady named alysha (not to sure about spelling) she was fantastic. Was just a wealth of knowledge and went above and beyond. She saved me from making a huge bad buy. I am planing on coming to honda to look at a new car now just because of the service she gave me. i work in service for a living and like i said she went above and beyond to help me. Thank you so much. If you need service work call her for your honda needs. Thanks again
Purchased a gorgeous Acura MDX from Greg Giblin at Harmony Acura. Great service Greg (sales) and Claire (finance). Thank you so much.I generally don't like purchasing a vehicle from a dealer, thoughts of that classic Fargo scene come to mind, but I was pleasantly surprised. I had been shopping for a specific type of vehicle for 2 months and narrowed it down to an MDX or another Pathfinder. Greg had two on his lot and arranged a test drive for me. I appreciated that Greg pointed out the good and the not-so-good in the vehicle I test drove and we decided to look at another vehicle (same model) that was new in on trade, but hadn't been reconditioned yet or found it's way to the lot. It was my dream car (SUV). Top of the line, well maintained, all the options, and a great color to boot.We were able to close the deal quickly (Claire was very personable, pleasant and effective in finance which I appreciated), and I was out the door with my key fobs in under a couple of hours.I am a huge fan of Honda (and Nissan), and I have to say that this experience was very good overall.Tips for improvement:Sales managers should not negotiate on the floor with their sales team members (I could hear everything, even behind your glass partition), seemed a bit unprofessional.Other sales team members should not interrupt my salesperson while we are in the middle of a buying transaction. Respect my privacy and my buying experience please. The dealership should invest in more workstations for sales team members, or create stations that are totally autonomous and don't 'belong' to other staff. Again, it is MY buying experience, so make it the best please.I found the music to be too loud and fast paced (flamenco dance music?) I would rather hear the sound of a TV with a Honda being test driven or something. Thanks again to the manager for getting me that paperwork I forgot last night. Appreciated.
